The China Policy Dialogue on Corporate Governance, scheduled to take place February 2007, is a joint project with the OECD which will examine corporate governance and the role of the board in state owned enterprises (SOEs) in China. Reform of SOEs is one of the key policy challenges for the Chinese government, for which they have sought consultation with the MCCGP. Participants include the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), China State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council, and the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
