Interdisciplinary research has a long history at Yale. CLICK HERE TO NOMINATE A Restoring Trust in Corporate Governance: Millstein Center principals were among experts and market participants consulted in the preparation of “Restoring Trust in Corporate Governance: Six Essential Tasks for Boards of Directors and Senior Executives,” issued Jan. 25 2010 by the Committee for Economic Development (CED and written by Ben W. Heineman, Jr., former Vice President and General Counsel for General Electric and member of the Millstein Center Advisory Board. The Center is posting the report on its website as an important contribution to the debate on market practice reforms in the wake of the financial crisis. Senior Associate Dean Ira Millstein commented that “A relentless focus on the six fundamental tasks is an important guide to creation of sustainable shareholder and stakeholder value.
